Utility Company Rebates Expire May 31st….in their current form!

For those who have been thinking about replacing their HVAC system, the current Nicor Gas Rebates, People’s Gas Rebates and North Shore Gas Rebates all expire on May 31st, 2014.

Currently Chicagoland homeowners can receive up to $1020 for installing a high efficient furnace and air conditioning system. The rebates will continue in some form beyond May 31st, but will most likely be at a lower dollar amount.

Nicor, Peoples Gas, & North Shore Gas Utility Rebates

Hey Chicagoland area did you know your utility providers, Nicor Gas, Peoples Gas and North Shore Gas have money to help you purchase a new furnace? And, did you know ComEd will kick in some money as well if you purchase a complete new furnace and air conditioning system?  While they advertise the rebates, the fact is, each month on your utility bill you are paying for the program.  The amount you pay is a reflection of the number or therms or kilowatts you consume.
